With international acclaim for artistic design, for over 30 years Pyrostar International's team lead by Robert McDermott, has been responsible for a number of the world’s most spectacular, prestigious and memorable pyrotechnic events. Being the first to fire off Sydney Harbour Bridge, our specialised team have performed in over 20 countries and Kingdoms, and has designed, created and delivered pyrotechnic displays of an internationally recognised standard, including Sydney New Year's Eve Displays, opening and closing ceremonies for Olympic and Paralympic Games, London & Sydney Millennium New Year’s Eve celebrations, Commonwealth Games, Asia Games, Goodwill Games, Hong Kong Handover, SkyShows, major sporting events, concerts, theatre, television commercials, music videos, air shows and corporate event production.
In New Zealand we created, designed and delivered the largest pyrotechnic display held on an annual basis for the past 22 years, The Wellington Guy Fawkes Skyshow since inception and since 2016 contracted to deliver and design all pyrotechnic displays from Auckland's iconic Skytower including New Year’s Eve, all part of our achievements.
